It is an annual ambition of the Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival to offer chamber music of high artistic quality performed by internationally acclaimed artists.
The new winter edition continues next year, at the same period, February 9 - February 13.
Next summer: July 12 - July 17 2010.
Concerts are given on four of the Lofoten Islands, in the municipalities of Moskenes, Flakstad, Vestvågøy and Vågan, where the many beautiful wooden churches provide excellent venues for the festival.
The Festival’s Artistic Director is the Norwegian violinist and conductor Arvid Engegård. |
